Let me share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering ordering glasses online. I recently spent $372 on what turned out to be SCRATCHED glasses, and trying to get this simple issue resolved has been a nightmare. I’ve been trying for two days just to talk to a human, with absolutely no luck, as the “bot” keeps sending return labels to an email I've never received! This sheer ineptitude has left me so frustrated that I felt compelled to leave this review and try one last time to engage with customer service.
Customer: I am beyond frustrated! I spent $372 on scratched glasses, and I haven't been able to get a return label or speak to anyone for two days. The bot just keeps sending it to an email address I don't even have access to! CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the scratched glasses and the extreme difficulty you've experienced trying to reach us and get your return label. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and stress this has caused. Can you please provide your order number so I can look into this for you immediately? Customer: My order number is 123456789. I just need a return label sent to the correct email, or better yet, just tell me how to return these faulty glasses. And please, confirm you have the right email address now! CS Rep: Thank you for that. I see the issue with the incorrect email on file. I've updated it to your correct address and I am sending a new return label to that email right now. I will also personally follow up to ensure you receive it and to facilitate a smooth return and exchange for your scratched glasses. We can get a new pair ordered for you right away. Customer: So I won't have to deal with the bot again, or wait another two days? I just want this resolved without more issues. CS Rep: Absolutely not. I will personally ensure this return and exchange process is handled correctly and efficiently for you. You will receive a direct confirmation from me once the new order is placed.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of endless frustration and unaddressed issues.
