A Warning to All Buyers: Dishonest, Glitchy, and Unprofessional ⚠️
I'm writing this as a warning to other potential buyers. My experience was infuriating, and I feel compelled to share it. In short, the company is dishonest and doesn't honor its own promos. It makes it impossible to collect an offer when the site is full of glitches. I was overcharged for a BOGO deal that their website failed to apply correctly. When I received the glasses—which were the right style and prescription—I just wanted the price corrected. I thought a simple conversation with customer service would resolve their mistake, but that conversation is what confirmed I would never shop here again.
Customer: Hello, my order was supposed to be part of a BOGO promotion, but your website had a glitch and it didn't apply. I'd like the difference credited back to my card, please.
CS Rep: I see the issue with the promotion, and I apologize for the trouble. To fix this, you will need to return your current order, and then we can help you place a new one with the discount applied correctly.
Customer: Return them? They're the correct glasses. That's a ridiculous solution for your website's error. The simple solution is to just credit my card for the amount I was overcharged.
CS Rep: I understand your position, but our policy for a missed promotion is to have the customer return and reorder. I am unable to issue a credit back to your card for the promotional amount.
Customer: So you admit it’s your company’s mistake, but you’re forcing me to go through a huge, unnecessary hassle to fix it? That is completely unprofessional. I will not be doing that.
